Can A Blog Sell A Service

Many blog marketeers have an inherent interest in positioning blogs as the second coming, as the only marketing required in your mix, as all you need to succeed in selling your products, services, or indeed anything that you want to sell.

I read a lot of books and listen to a lot of audios on the subjects of personal development, sales, business, marketing and motivation.

Nowadays I read a lot of blogs and am subscribed to several via RSS feeds. One blog which I read regularly is Trish Jones’ blog. She recently posted two interesting posts on blogging as a sales tool and whether blogging can sell services or just products.

Top Ways To Motivate Yourself

Being motivated is a huge problem as most people know what they have to do but they are hampered by their brains inability to organize effectively and get things on the right track to get things done.

Some of the best tips I can recommend are as follows,

Firstly to be more organized you have to have an idea of where you intend to be, and on what end goals you would like to achieve, it’s ok to dream at this stage as your ambitions should shine through and be part of this process as they give you something to aspire to and a goal to accomplish, I myself always organize things into lists and then can get things done far quicker than without them, I make these lists usually into three priority lists.

You Have The Power

Matthew 18: 19-20 I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they make ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered in My name, I am there in their midst.

There is power in the name of Jesus. There is power in fellowship and in numbers. Power to live the life promised to you comes in fellowship and agreement with others. Don’t isolate yourself from other believers.

Goal Setting - The Power Of Pictures

In the course of goal setting, when we decide what it is that we want to have, or be, or do, we could also describe the process as ‘setting our minds’ on something. But how do we ‘set our minds’? What can we do to ensure that we keep the focus on our aims?

One of my favourite ways is to support the picture in my mind with real pictures, real experiences and real sensations. It is important to stimulate as many of our senses as possible in order to fully engage the mind. Here are some ideas to help:

In an era where we specialize in instant gratification, often people having a difficult taking on larger projects. Our society is continually moving towards a time where everything is instantaneous. ATM machines allow us to get money on the spot. We can order anything at anytime on the internet. The meteoric rise in fast food sales shows that many people do not wait long even to get their food. These activities all create the mindset where gratification is needed immediately.
