Home Improvements - Do You Have A Plan?

The idea of adding onto an existing home rather than moving to a larger one has been around a long time. That being said, you need a plan of action to get the job done.

Even in colonial America, it was common for a family home to be a small square one or two room cabin when it was first built. As time went on and the family grew larger and more settled, additions were built onto the home. Sometimes these additions were done in an almost comical haphazard fashion and sometimes they were very well thought out. In some cases, the finished home, sometimes generations later, would hardly be recognized as the original home place. It seems home addition plans were not always used.

An Organized Freezer

The cold puddle of water on the floor one morning woke me faster than any alarm clock. The freezer for some unknown reason decided to spontaneously defrost. Everything was still partially frozen, so I didn’t lose any food — or any time transferring items to the freezer in my garage. It was the opportunity I had been looking for. It was my chance to clean out and organize the freezer once and for all so I could finally find something when I was looking for it.
