You Do Not Need To Know All History - It Repeats Way Too Often
Many people in debate will say that they are smarter than someone else because they know all about history. This is not always true however because history repeats so often that if you just know a little bit about history you probably know enough to make relevant decisions. For instance someone who watches the history Discovery Channel on TV probably knows enough about history not to make the same mistakes as our Congress is doing today.
And it is not just our leadership or our U. S. Congress making the mistakes, these mistakes are being made all over the world in many different countries and nation-states. Once you have studied quite a bit of history you probably have enough knowledge to make it all work. To make a difference; so, Make history instead.
Now then let’s take up the subject of socialism as a form of government and look at where it has worked and where it has failed. Well it has never worked anywhere long-term and has failed everywhere it has been attempted. History shows this, yet we still find politicians promoting it, why? Perhaps because they know less history than I. Amazingly enough many who study lots of history are in academia and yet they promote socialism, some even communism to the thirteenth degree, why?
If history repeats and we are truly doomed for one more cycle then it appears we are headed for a fall if we continue on the socialistic path that we are traveling down now. It seems that one barely has to know any history at all to see that is a mistake and yet they still maketh.
